Sous la pluie battante, une voiture s'arrête dans la ruelle. 

Un flot infini d'hommes portant les mêmes imperméables en émerge. 

Arrivés par la porte arrière, ils emplissent ma maison instantanément.

Manquant d'espace, je saute dans le miroir géant,

Dans un océan profond, où l'eau y est dense et revigorante. 

Telles des lumières kaléidoscopiques colorées grandissantes,

Telle la sonnerie d’une horloge vide, surgit ce son magnifique.

Ainsi, tout d’un coup, je me transforme en baleine. 

Sous la lune de jour, je déploie mes nageoires comme des ailes.

どしゃぶりの雨の中、車が一台裏道に止まり

そこからあり得ないほど沢山の

同じレインコートを着た男たちが降りてきた。

彼らは裏口から入り込み、見る見る間に私の家を埋め尽くした。

居場所をなくした私は大きな鏡に飛び込んだ。

鏡の奥は深い海の底の様にひんやりととろみを帯びていた。

万華鏡の光が広がりながら回転しているような、

中身のない柱時計が鳴っているような、そんな音がする。

いつの間にか私はくじらになって、昼間の月の下、

羽根を広げて凄い速さで海を進んでいた。
